Franz Kafka (1883-1924) was a Bohemian-born writer known for his dark, existential works involving alienation and/or persecution. Only a fraction of Kafka's writing was published in his lifetime, and he died leaving instructions (ignored) to have his unpublished manuscripts destroyed. But he posthumously became one of the most influential writers of the 20th century.
Alex Wilson is a writer and stage/film actor from northern Ohio and now based in Carrboro, North Carolina.
