Description

Alternative tunings include Open G, Open D, Open A, Open E, E Minor, Drop D, Double Drop D, Halfstep Down, and Celtic/DADGAD.

Click on a string/buton to play. Press 1-6 keys to play corresponding string. Press the space bar to cycle through the notes. Press "x" key to repeat the last note played. The author of the program is not a regular user of alternative and open tunings, so please let him know if there are any problems with the tunings provided here.

You are free to use AWS Guitar Tuner and redistribute it and the supplemental set of AAC/MP3 Digital Pitch Pipes for tuning via iPod or other MP3-playing device.

As of June 14, 2006: Guitar Tuner 2 and the Digital Pitch Pipes are free and ad-free!

2.01 update (November 22, 2004) fixes inconsistencies between mouse and keyboard on some notes with Open E, E Minor, and Open A alternative tunings.
