Comments: Discuss this entry at LiveJournalFor reasons I don't understand, my Asimov's stopped coming. I know I renewed it, I spoke on the phone with the guy. I missed January (with a story by Jeff Carlson) and now it looks like I'll miss Feb! Arg. I'm gonna hafta call them and find out what the hell is going on. Posted by: Vince at January 4, 2007 12:29 AM Awesome! You must be stoked. Congratulations, and may it be the first of many! Posted by: Steve at January 4, 2007 6:54 AM CONGRATS! I'll rush down to my local VisArt and buy me a copy! (Why is there no rosy oil painting of Alex Wilson in a 1950s space suit holding a raygun on the cover?) Posted by: Ted at January 4, 2007 10:44 AM This month's issue (552) of Locus mentions "promising new writer Alex Wilson" on page 12. I have no idea who they're talking about. Posted by: Will Ludwigsen at January 4, 2007 10:58 AM Thanks, all. Ted: VisArt sells SF mags? My contributor copies haven't come but I've gotten emails from subscribers and I bought a copy for my mom at B&N. Will: Thanks, I'll check it out. Too bad they said "promising" or else they might have been talking about me. Posted by: Alex at January 4, 2007 12:04 PM Yeah, the VisArt near me (Elliott Road) has a remarkably decent newsstand attached. Posted by: Ted at January 4, 2007 10:55 PM Stay right there ... I'll be RIGHT back ... ! Posted by: Alan at January 5, 2007 4:04 AM I was late getting back to work from lunch so I could finish "Outgoing." It's wonderful! More like it, please! Posted by: linda at January 10, 2007 2:47 PM Thanks! Working on it! Posted by: Alex at January 12, 2007 9:35 PM |
