How much do SF writers earn?
February 9, 2005

SF writer (and fellow Hamster!) Tobias S Buckell surveyed over 70 SF and Fantasy authors about their first novel advances and how much they earn on current books. He summarized his findings the other day and I sent the link to Cory Doctorow at Boing Boing this morning. Apologies to Toby for any detrimental effects this has on his bandwidth, but he deserves all the publicity and kudos he can get for his hard work on a very beneficial project.

In other Tobias Buckell news, he's got two recordings of his short stories at Telltale and his first novel coming out soon.

Heh, thanks for the link-juice. I think I'll be able to take the bandwidth hit, but I'll have a better idea at 2pm when my stats log runs and I can see the latest figures... :-)
