I know this comes close on the heels of the hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico, that we're all stretched thin right now, and that it seems like it's a bit soon to have to hear the call to be generous again. This isn't competition for Katrina relief. This is a reason why we need to get into the habit of giving regularly even when--no, especially when--there's no immediate disaster to respond to. Feel like you've given too much in the last month to The Red Cross? Give some love to The World Food Program. |
