Poetry to Star*Line, Ideomancer, Dreams & Nightmares, and The Atlantic Monthly. Gag-line submission to the New Yorker Cartoon Caption contest. Rejections 214-217: Replies from Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet and a previous week's New Yorker Caption Contest. Notes: Strange Horizons just reopened to submissions on the first. I'm going to try posting these things weekly for the first part of the year, see how that goes. I don't know at what milestone I'll stop making my submission log public. 500 submissions? 300 rejections? When I sell a novel? If the numbers don't seem to add up this week, it's because I sometimes submit (and receive rejections for) batches of poems. Filed under Happy Fun Log, Journal
