The annual World Science Fiction Convention is one of the largest science fiction and fantasy conventions in the world. Worldcon attendees/members vote on the annual Hugo Awards, which are given at the convention. Unlike most conventions, Worldcon changes locations every year.
In 2006, the 64th Worldcon will double as L.A.con IV in Los Angeles, California, August 23 - 27, 2006.
In 2007, the 65th Worldcon will double as Nippon 2007 in Yokohama, Japan, August 30 - September 3, 2007.
