Viable Paradise is a Clarion-style one-week workshop for writers of science fiction and fantasy, held on Martha's Vineyard, off the coast of Massachusetts.

The 2006 workshop will take place October 7th through 15th with instructors Debra Doyle, Laura J. Mixon, James D. Macdonald, Teresa Nielsen Hayden, Patrick Nielsen Hayden, and Steven Gould.
