Talk:Two Act Structure

Nearly took a degree in theatre. Took many classes on plays and their structure. Never heard of a "two-act structure." There are two-act plays. There are one-act plays. But their structure is always that of three acts cut down in time. So, explain to me and everyone else what a two-act structure is that's different than a three-act structure not just where it might exist.
