Marvel Comics is a comic book publisher which accepts "letters of inquiry" from writers. '"Please send us an inquiry letter, detailing your writing experience and why you would like to write for Marvel. Based on your inquiry letter, we may request to read a sample of your work.... Unsolicited writing samples will not be read."
In a recent Newsarama Interview, Marvel EIC Joe Quesada said: "Last year alone approximately 35 new writers got to write a Marvel story, not all made it, but that is a huge accomplishment and we hope to carry on that tradition as best as possible."
