The Creator's Bill of Rights is a document created by and for comic book professionals in November 1988. It outlines a protection of the rights of creators in their relationship and future contracts as necessary for the health of the medium, which historically required creators to sign away ownership of creative works to the publishers as standard practice.

Those participating in the summit and creating the Bill included: Dave Sim, Gerhard, Kevin Eastman, Peter Laird, Steve Bissette, Rick Veitch, Scott McCloud, Larry Marder, Mark Martin, Steve Murphy, Michael Zulli, Eric Talbot, Ken Mitchroney and (with Mirage Studios) Michael Dooney, Steve Lavigne, Craig Farley, Jim Lawson and Ryan Brown.
