Clash of Steel is a high fantasy magazine to be published three times per year from Carnifex Press, starting in 2007. CoS was originally a series of chapbooks.

Issues are themed. Upcoming themes include Life Force (March 2007), Carnifex (July 2007), and Pirates (November 2007).

Pays 5 cents per word for fiction 2,000-4,000 words.
